  • Greshams Law of Information Economics for the Web - broadstuff

    Alan Patrick applies economic principles to web information and comes up with some strong conclusions including that good information drives out bad. 

    For those who find the notion of the ‘attention economy’ useful then there’s some very good analysis here of the dynamics. Patrick thinks that there’s been a material change in the quality of information on the free web with much of the most useful stuff disappearing behind paywalls.
